24-hour Library Access for Finals Starts Monday, April 28th

open 24 hoursThis semester the library’s 24-hour access for final exams begins at 7:30a.m. on Monday, April 28th (the day before Reading Day) and ends at 9:00p.m. on Thursday, May 8th (the last day of exams).

*Please note the weekend exception: The library closes at 9:00 p.m. Saturday night and reopens at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning, because everyone should take a little break from studying!

Monday, April 28 – Saturday, May 3:
24 hour access
Open at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 28 and remain open until
9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 3

*Saturday, May 3:
Close at 9:00 p.m.

Sunday, May 4 – Thursday, May 8:
24 hour access
Open at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 4 and remain open until
9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8

What to expect:

  • Reference services will not be available during the extended late-night hours.
  • All patrons in the building at 2:00am will be required to show a Bentley ID in order to remain in the building.
  • Patrons entering the Library after 2:00am must enter via the front entrance and will need to show their Bentley ID upon entry.

In the Art Gallery: Jim Cain – Opening Reception on Wed. 4/30

Now showing in the McGladrey Art Gallery is a collection of paintings titled “Counterpoise” by artist Jim Cain. The exhibit will be on view April 7 through May 16, 2014. All are invited to attend the opening reception on Wednesday, April 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Easter & Patriots’ Day Holiday Hours: April 19-21

clockPlease note that we have made changes to our hours for the Easter and Patriots’ Day holidays. On Sunday, April 20, we will open late at 1:00 p.m. and close early at 9:00 p.m. On Monday, April 21, we will open late at 10:00 a.m. and close at our normal closing time – 2:00 a.m.

The Deloitte Cafe/Einstein’s has also adjusted their hours on Sunday and Monday.

Saturday, April 19:

cafe: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 20:
library: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The library is happy to announce that we are now subscribing to Mergent Online, a key resource for company and industry information. Those of you familiar with the Mergent Manuals (formerly Moody’s Manuals), know that Mergent provides comprehensive information and data for 15,000 U.S. public companies and 20,000 non-U.S. public companies. Coverage includes inactive companies, on both the U.S. and international exchanges. Mergent Online also provides access to the D&B 20 Million Plus Private Company database.  Mergent BondViewer contains a wide-range of bond data, involving both issuer and issue-level terms and conditions for U.S. taxable bonds, municipal bonds and retail notes.mergent-online
