Columbus Day Holiday / Mini-break Hours

Bentley University undergraduate students will be enjoying a Mini-Break over the Columbus Day holiday weekend from Saturday, October 12 – Tuesday, October 15.

The Bentley Library will remain open during this break with a couple of small exceptions to our normal operating hours. On Sunday, October 13, the library will have a late opening at 1:00 p.m. and early closing at 9:00 p.m. On Monday, October 14 (Columbus Day), we will have a late opening at 10:00 a.m. All other opening and closing hours are unchanged.

1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Monday, October 14
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Tuesday, October 15
7:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Welcome back, Falcons! We had a wonderful summer here at the library, but it’s great to have you back on campus. Stop by, call, chat or email us if you have any questions.  Our normal semester hours are:

Monday – Thursday
7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Friday
7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Saturday
9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Special Library Hours: Saturday, August 10 – Monday, September 2

The library’s hours change for the period of time after summer session and before the start of the fall semester – Saturday, August 10 through Monday, September 2 (Labor Day).  During this time, the library is closed nights and weekends.

Weekend Closing: June 29th & 30th

Summer session I  ends this week, which means we will be closed this weekend – Saturday, June 29 and Sunday, June 30.    Normal summer hours resume when summer session II begins on Monday, July 1.  For more information about our hours please view our hours calendar.

Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Closing

flagsIn observance of the Memorial Day holiday, we will be closed Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27.  We will resume our regular summer session hours at 8:00am on Tuesday, May 28.

Summer session begins on Monday, May 20, 2013.  Our regular summer session hours are:

Sunday
1:00pm – 10:00pm

Monday – Thursday
8:00am – 10:00pm

Friday
8:00am – 4:00pm

Saturday
9:00am – 5:00pm

Hours are subject to change on holidays and holiday weekends (including Memorial Day weekend, May 25- 27) and when classes are not being held.  The Deloitte Cafe (Einstein’s) has closed for the summer.

Summer Hours at the ESOL Center & the Writing Center

Summer session students take note, the ESOL Center and the Writing Center will open for the summer on May 20, 2013. Students are encouraged to make an appointment online using the links below, but walk-ins are also welcome. Both centers are located on the lower level of the library.

The ESOL Center [Opens May 20]

Hours: Monday & Wednesday, 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Looking for help with writing, presentations, pronunciation and conversation enrichment? Come to the ESOL Center. Bentley University students whose home language is not English are invited to take advantage of the free tutorial services offered by Bentley’s ESOL Center. All students (including graduate students) can schedule an appointment online using the undergraduate scheduling database link, call 781.891.2021 to make an appointment, or drop in to see if a faculty tutor is available.

The Writing Center [Opens May 20]

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 1:00pm to 6:00pm

Writing Center staff are available to provide one-to-one assistance with writing skills. Students can either drop in during open hours, schedule an appointment online, or call 781.891.3173 to make an appointment.
