On Display: The Best Books of 2015

blue ribbonHappy New Year and welcome to the library’s 7th annual best books display! This year we have combed through eighteen* year-end “best books” lists to bring you the Best Books of 2015.

The display features fiction and nonfiction titles that have spent weeks on the bestseller lists, and also highlights critically claimed books that have not garnered as much mainstream attention. Intrigued? More than 150 books and audiobooks are currently on display. More titles being added as they are acquired and returned, so keep checking back!

The library’s hours will be extended for wintersession classes, Monday, January 11 – Friday, January 15, 2016:

Monday, January 11 Thursday, January 14:
8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Friday, January 15:
8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, January 16 – Monday, January  18 (holiday):
CLOSED

The library will resume regular semester hours on Tuesday, January 19.

The new acquisitions lists for December have been posted! Go to the New Books & DVDs page to browse the books, movies, TV shows, and audiobooks added to the library’s collection last month. When you see something you want, click the “Request” button to place a hold on it.

Special Library Hours: January 4th – 10th

The Bentley Library is closed evenings and weekends when classes are not in session. The library’s hours for the period of January 4 – January 10, 2016, are:

Monday, January 4 Thursday, January 7:
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday, January 8:
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, January 9 & Sunday, January 10:
CLOSED

Hours will change when Wintersession classes begin on Monday, January 11.

Winter Break Closing: Wednesday, December 23 – Sunday, January 3

Bentley University and the Bentley Library are closed for Winter Break Wednesday, December 23, 2015, through Sunday, January 3, 2016. The library will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2016.
