Getting Started with Blackboard

Learn to set up discussion boards, blogs and wikis for individual students or as groups. Discussion boards are useful for entire class or small group conversations, and are threaded for easier management. Blogs create a personal writing space for individuals (e.g. an online journal) which can be kept private or viewed by others. Wikis are ideal for team projects and can also be kept private or shared with the entire class. Allow your students to self-enroll or manually enroll your students into groups to provide them with access to these and other collaborative tools. See examples of how some Bentley faculty use blogs and wikis in their classes.
