There are some parts of college that i find wonderful. Most of the days i have my afternoons off. I have a lot time off and i find myself doing nothing during that time. the problem with this is that i have a lot of work to do and i end up doing them the night before they're do. I have readings to do, papers to write, and research to do. I'm also having a hard time in math. yet every time i have an afternoon off i do nothing until the night before the assignment is do. I'm trying really hard to change this horrible behavior before mid terms rolls around and i fail out of everything.

One thing you can do to help yourself is to believe that an assignment is due one day ahead. For example say on Monday you find out that you have an assignment due on Friday. Write in your planner that the assignment is due on Thurday. This way you will get the work done on Wedensday night and have the freedom to look it over the next day without penalty. It is most likely that you work best under pressure, so setting an earlier deadline can give you the motivation you need to get something done early. Also consult your First Year Seminar online book which has learning style surveys you can take to find out what is the best way for you to learn and study.
Best Wishes
